Artist Cori Denyce of
Cori Ceramics

Growing up along the shores of Virginia and North Carolina’s Outer Banks, Cori Denyce developed a deep connection to the ocean and the quiet beauty found along the coast. The rhythm of the sea, grains of sand underfoot, delicate coral, and the ever-changing hues of sky and water continue to influence her work today—inviting a slower pace and a deeper appreciation for the small wonders of nature.
With over 30 years of experience, Cori Denyce began her journey in the ceramic arts under the guidance of a master Italian Capodimonte sculptor. That foundation in classical technique informs her work to this day, where she blends tradition with a modern, expressive style rooted in nature and ritual.
Through Cori Ceramics, her Tulsa-based studio, Cori handcrafts porcelain vessels and sculptures that honor organic form, layered texture, and timeless silhouettes. Favoring tactile surfaces and flowing lines, she creates both sculptural and functional pieces—each shaped to be touched, to evoke memory, and to bring a sense of calm into the home. Her collections include Wave Sculptures, Wall Gardens, Forever Flowers, Beach Bowls, Blossom Bowls, and Bowls of Posies, each reflecting the natural world through movement, texture, and form.
Cori extends her artistic vision into fine art collections that reflect her deep connection to the natural world and a lifelong dedication to craftsmanship.
Cori’s practice is also shaped by a love of flowers passed down from her mother and a belief that art can help connect generations. Every piece is made by hand in her Tulsa studio, ensuring no two are exactly alike. Subtle variations are embraced as part of the handmade process, adding character and authenticity to each creation.
Each work is one of a kind—crafted with intention and finished in Cori’s signature palette of soft whites, ocean blues, and natural earth tones—designed to become part of your story, carrying meaning, memory, and a sense of place.
