These Purse shaped clay teapots are the original design of artist Meghan Runkle. Each Porcelain Teapot, or as called by her Teabags they are completely handmade with no use of  a mold and signed by the artist in her North Carolina Studio. Her artistic work is not only attractive but practical these tea pot purses have a built in, loose leaf tea strainer. Quoting Meghan Runkle “My main concern when designing and producing pottery is function, closely followed by form and surface. I want each piece to relay an invitation for use. Ceramics is an intimate art form, it is made to be touched and used daily by the owner in both everyday activities as well as special occasions.
