Christyn Mattson was born in the Midwest and began her glass career there.  Starting with leaded stained glass she began creating original glass designs for homes, groups and corporate commissions. Five years into her glass passion, she felt the need to further her knowledge.  She bought a book and a kiln and began fusing.  She has been fusing now for 15 years.  During the early 2000’s she opened a studio and gallery providing workshops and selling her work and others.  Upon moving to Florida she began to search for just the right niche for her work.  In that, she found Kerry Cleaver who lived only miles away.  As Kerry Cleaver began to prepare for her retirement, Christyn stepped in and is now the owner of Christyn Mattson’s Art Glass offering all the original designs Kerry Cleaver Art Glass while adding some new ones of her own.
